Where AI/ML interns actually get hired in Pakistan (and how to find them)
The companies that take AI/ML interns, where the roles are posted, and the one thing that gets you in.
Want an AI/ML internship in Pakistan but don’t know where they even are? Two things to know up front: these roles exist, and most of them are rolling (no fixed deadline), so the right time to apply is the day you find one, not some “season.”
Where they hire. Two buckets:
- Structured programs (reliable intake): Systems Limited, NETSOL, and 10Pearls run proper internship/graduate programs and regularly take fresh tech talent, including data/AI tracks.
- AI-focused companies and startups: firms like Soothsayer Analytics, Skylabs AI, HayDevs, and Ezitech list AI/ML intern roles. These change often, so search and verify before you apply (see below).
Where the roles are posted:
- LinkedIn — search “AI intern Pakistan” / “machine learning intern” and filter by date.
- Rozee.pk — Pakistan’s main job board.
- Indeed Pakistan — aggregates a lot of listings (always confirm on the company’s own page).
- NSTP jobs board — the National Science & Technology Park lists roles at its startups, a good hidden source.
- Your university’s career portal / placement office — many intern roles never leave the campus list.
The one thing that gets you in. In AI/ML, your CGPA barely matters. A small, real project on GitHub does, a model you actually trained, a notebook that solves a real problem, a tiny app that uses an ML API. One working project + a tailored CV beats a blank resume with a high GPA. Add a short message to someone at the company asking for advice (not a job), and you’re ahead of most applicants.
Two honest notes: most of these roles are rolling, so apply now rather than waiting for a deadline, and some are unpaid or low-stipend, so confirm the pay before you count on it. Start with the structured three, keep an eye on LinkedIn and the NSTP board for the AI-focused ones, and lead every application with a project link.
Free either way — an account just keeps your list.
